HIGH VOLTAGE are an AC/DC tribute comprised of five musicians from East Anglia who have come together with the aim of delivering the authentic sound of AC/DC.

When drummer Kevin Woodard, a lifelong AC/DC fan, decided to finally put together his own tribute to the band he loves he knew exactly the musicians he wanted since he was already playing in another rock band with bassist Jon Davey and lead guitarist Jon Miller. Rhythm guitarist John Lovegrove was quickly recruited and his experience as crew for AC/DC on tour provided valuable insight! Charismatic frontman Andy Dunt, with the voice of Brian Johnson and the spirit of Bon Scott, completed the line up.

We consider ourselves a 'tribute to AC/DC' rather than an 'AC/DC tribute'. Our attitude is to rock out and hopefully capture some of the heart and soul that makes AC/DC one of the greatest Rock 'N' Roll bands of all time. Due to other band commitments we can not play as High Voltage as often as we would like but we are freeing up our schedules to play more from late 2008 into 2009. Watch this space!
